Winter Furlough Information: December 20, 2019 – January 5, 2020
Exams are scheduled December 17-20. Students may leave after completing their last exam, commitment, project, and have passed room inspection.
Bus transportation to/from the Beacon Train Station and area airports is available on December 20th, and January 5th. Bus reservations are available. Click NYMArides for schedules and more information.
We kindly request that parents of boarding students submit a Furlough Travel Form to let the School know of your student’s travel plans. To download the Furlough Travel Form for submission, click: Furlough Travel Form. If a change of plans arises during the break, please submit a new permission request with changes, and include a note in the comment section to indicate that this is a change.
For students who need to depart late on December 20 and/or arrive early on January 5, permissions will be granted through the linked here Furlough Travel Form.
UNACCOMPANIED MINORS: If your cadet is not 16 years of age and is traveling by air, we suggest that you check with your airline before booking flights to see if any restrictions are in place with respect to underage children traveling alone. Some airlines have more restrictive policies than others and demand a higher level of services for unaccompanied minors.
