COP 28

At NYMA, we focus on preparing the younger generation to lead and make a lasting impact on our future world. During COP 28, we emphasize the importance of sustainability and encourage a mindset shift among our students. By instilling a vision of the future, we empower our cadets to make informed decisions that benefit the world they will inherit, setting them apart from their peers.

Our Superintendent Angelene Huang is collaborating with the UNITA-UN education department to introduce SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) curricula at NYMA. These topics are highly relevant and we believe that equipping our cadets with a global visionary perspective will enable them to become influential global leaders.

Attend an event like this has the potential to transform a young person’s mindset forever, ultimately leading to positive changes in the world. At NYMA, we prioritize preparing our cadets to face the challenges of tomorrow with great leadership skills and a global perspective.

Upon their return, Mrs. Huang will collaborate with industry experts on strategic projects aimed at achieving a net-zero carbon campus. This initiative allows all our cadets the opportunity to actively participate in valuable actions towards sustainability. Furthermore, as we prepare for COP29 in Brazil next year, we are excited to organize another trip to showcase our work and contributions.
