Superintendent John Dolan Announces Retirement from the New York Military Academy.
On December 31, 2019 Superintendent John Dolan officially retired from the New York Military Academy. Deeply respected, Mr. Dolan has served the Academy for over three years as the Director of Admissions and Superintendent, contributing greatly to the development of the school. Mr. Dolan will continue to serve the Academy as an advisor to the Academy’s Board of Trustees contributing his support for its continued development.
Ms. Maria Reeves Appointed the Academy’s 19th Superintendent.
Upon receiving the news of Mr. Dolan’s retirement, the Board of Trustees of the New York Military Academy voted to appoint Ms. Maria Reeves as the new Superintendent effective January 1, 2020, overseeing the overall management of the New York Military Academy. Ms. Reeves holds a master’s degree from Columbia University and is devoted to the Academy having been part of its staff these past fifteen years, most recently serving as the Dean of Academics and as the Chief Operating Officer. Ms. Reeves dedication and commitment is admired by all. The Board has great confidence in Ms. Reeves, her vision and forward-thinking leadership is an asset to the New York Military Academy moving the school forward to continued growth and development.
