Financial Aid

New York Military Academy offers a limited amount of need-based financial aid on a year-to-year basis.

Who is eligible?

New and returning domestic students are eligible to apply for financial aid.

New students must complete the enrollment process first. Candidates will not be considered prior to being notified of acceptance.

How to Apply

Parents or guardians should contact the Admissions Office for an application prior to the enrollment term or at the time of the personal interview.

Completed applications must be returned to Admissions Office with the requested documentation. Incomplete applications will be returned.

Notification and Acceptance of Aid Offered

Parents or guardians will be notified in writing of the student's aid award. In order to accept and reserve the amount of aid offered to the student, parents or guardians must mail the $2,000 registration fee to the Admissions Office.

Upon receipt of the registration fee, the Superintendent will formally acknowledge the student's acceptance to the academy and the aid award will be posted as a credit to the student's account.

Alumni Referral
A one time $1,000 award to a prospective student who has been referred by an alumnus and accepted to the academy.

Parent Referral
When a current parent refers a prospective student who is accepted, enrolled, and reports in to the academy, a one time tuition credit in the amount equal to 10% of the tuition fee paid will be posted to the current student's account.
