Welcome to Booth Library
Our mission is "to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information by supporting the school's curriculum with access to current, adequate and appropriate information resources" which foster the continuing development of lifelong learning.
The Booth Library houses 15,000 volumes and subscribes to a variety of magazines and newspapers, many with back issues in print or microfilm.
The library and the adjacent Brunetti Computer Lab house 25-networked Windows XP computers with Microsoft Office and Internet access. The library is also a wireless area where students' laptops can be used.
Electronic & Online Resources
Several academic full-text online databases are available on the library's Website as well as periodicals, newspapers and the New York State Library's NOVEL, a virtual library of subject specific reference resources. These resources as well as the library home page can be accessed 24 hours a day.

The library's Online Catalog enables the students to have access to our library collection as well as an extensive selection of other school, public, university and special libraries throughout southeastern New York. Books not found in our collection can be interlibrary loaned from other libraries through the Orange-Ulster Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), or the Southeastern Access to Libraries.
Staff & Hours
The Booth Llibrary staff consists of a full time library media specialist and library aide.
The library is open before and after school as well as throughout the academic day when many faculty schedule classes for research and projects. Evening study hours are available Monday through Friday for all of our students.
